Step 1 - Spyware and Virus Removal
The first step in combating a virus or spyware that has been unintentionally installed by you is to get an anti-virus program and scan your entire hard drive. Step 2 - Registry Edit Cleaner and Repair
The second step to permanently removing spyware pop-ups is to run whats called a "Registry Cleaner" and again you will run into the same problem over and over on the internet - you download the software thinking you will get a free scan that will fix your pop-ups, but this isn't the case. After installing the software it will scan for "Free", but than you have to pay to have actually remove all the problems it found.
